Travel

We love to travel. Up until now our travel has been limited to work or pleasure. We are now adding LAMb activities to our travels! This blog will hopefully allow you to follow our adventures. Our thoughts, our views, dreams, and adventures. Follow along if you wish. If no one follows that's fine as well. It's just a place for us to remember . . .

Planting Day

Today was another busy day.  We started out going to Mercy Foundation for a bible study led by Pastor Ken.  After we returned to eggs and toast cooked by mom and headed out for the day.  Randy, Jackie, Pastor Ken & Lynn headed to Dayspring to plant the garden and do some painting in preparation for the Grand Opening next week.  I headed to Bishkek with mom & Jayne to a meeting that included a government official (Minister of some sort).  Mom got to meet her which is a great connection!  More on that as things progress . . .

The evening included a couples meeting with the Russian church where Pastor Ken shared a word and we had tea and snacks as we talked about marriages today.  It was a great evening and very encouraging.

We returned home to have dinner (8'ish) and right in the middle of preparations, the lights went out.  Welcome to Kyrgyzstan!!!  We had dinner by candle light and around 10'ish the lights came on, we cleaned up the kitchen and now headed to bed.

There are pictures to tell today's story but I don't have them yet.  I'll post more later.

Blessings!

He was at the couples meeting alone . . . He got 'the call' at the end of the fellowship that his wife was ready to have her  baby!

Tea & cookies are served regularly when you visit homes and gathers like the couples meeting.  They have a wonderful servant's heart here.  I love it and pray that I can adopt it in my own home and lift.
